Light Crab Alfredo
HERE'S WHAT TO
PICK UP:
Refrigerated fresh fettuccini, light alfredo sauce, mock crab,
tomatoes. Cook pasta according to directions, add crab to heated
pasta sauce. Top with chopped tomatoes and parmesan cheese..
TRY SERVING
WITH:
A slice of french bread sprayed with lowfat butter spray (such as
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter) and sprinkled with garlic powder;
broiled.
Angel Hair Pomodoro
Option 1:
(quickest):
Cook 12 oz. angel hair pasta to package directions. Drain 1-2 cans
of recipe-ready chopped tomatoes (there are several tasty varieties
in stores these days - with garlic, oregano and other great seasonings),
heat in microwave. Serve over pasta, top with parmesan cheese. Optional
add-ins for more veggie power: onions, green peppers, mushrooms
(sauteed in cooking spray, wine, or splash of olive oil).
Option 2
(involves some chopping):
Dice 3 cups fresh roma tomatoes. Add to saucepan. Add 2 T. chopped fresh basil, 1-2 T. olive oil, 2 cloves minced garlic. heat through,
serve over cooked angel hair. Top with fresh grated parmesan cheese.

WITH:
Steamed zucchini or asparagus or green salad and
breadsticks (if desired).
